FOX’s new show The Masked Singer has grabbed the attention of fans across the country. The quirky series has quickly become one of television’s most talked about shows after its debut just weeks ago.
Based on a Korean version of the show, the show highlights a group of celebrities who sing their hearts out on stage to capture the votes of fans in the audience. The catch: their identities are hidden and no one, not even the host or panel, knows who they are.
On Wednesday night’s episode (Jan. 16), the fan-favorite character The Deer strutted his stuff on stage, channeling his inner Florida Georgia Line. Fans, as well as the panel, couldn’t help but dance along as The Deer crooned “Get Your Shine On.”
While the performance had everyone enthralled, it was The Deer who had to be unmasked at the end of the show. Panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger, and guest judge Joel McHale, were sad to see him go, but eager to learn the identity of the man behind the mask. After placing their final guesses, football legend Terry Bradshaw revealed his identity and thanked the audience for sending him home.
When asked by Scherzinger which was harder: The Masked Singer or football, Bradshaw quickly responded the show.
The series continues next week when five more celebrities hit the stage to sing their hearts out in hopes of making it to the end.
