It was the biggest night of eliminations so far on NBC’s The Voice. After the Top 24 performed during a live broadcast on April 29, the audience voted for their favorites. The eight artists with the most votes automatically advance in the competition while the coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton each selected one of the remaining artists from their team to continue on.

In addition, the remaining artist from the Comeback Stage, Kanard Thomas, went toe-to-toe live on the show with LB Crew whom Coach Bebe Rexha saved from the live Cross Battles. Following Kanard’s performance of The Weeknd’s “Call Out My Name” and LB’s cover of MGMT’s “Electric Feel,” the decision fell to the viewing audience who voted live to determine who would round out the Top 13 and continue on to next week. With just minutes to tweet their votes, America picked LB Crew. And with his choice of all of the coaches, LB announced he would, once again, return to Team Adam.

To take the edge off of the eliminations, Team Adam’s Betsy Ade, Domenic Haynes, Kalvin Jarvis, Mari, and their coach showcased their talent during a performance of Bob Marley’s “Is This Love.” Kelly also stepped into the spotlight to perform “Broken and Beautiful” from the new movie, Ugly Dolls.

Team Blake’s Gyth Rigdon had the most streams on Apple Music following his performance of Shenandoah’s “I Want to Be Loved Like That,” and that certainly helped keep him in the competition.
