Thomas Rhett and Wife Go All Out for Christmas Celebrations

If Christmas were a competition, Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren, would win every single year.

The couple prides themselves upon their heavy celebrations of the Christmas season and do so in an obsessive fashion. Not only do these two lovebirds decorate their house to the nines with all things silver and gold, they also indulge on those cheesy holiday movie marathons for hours on end.

“It is really intense. It stays on, it’s not ABC family anymore, but it stays on Freeform and I swear it’s nothing but Elf 20 times in December and all the Harry Potter movies and the old school Rudolph.  We get the biggest tree, I mean sometimes it hits our ceiling and bends.  We’re like the Griswold’s,” admitted Rhett recently.

Part of the holiday season is also to spread the good cheer with family and friends, so they do exactly that with a massive winter party with a trendy theme in mind for the dress code.

“Lauren loves it and we always have an ugly Christmas sweater party every year and we invite 100 of our friends over and it’s always a really good time, but we love Christmas,” said Rhett.

Rhett will have to save some of his energy from the holidays to throw into the upcoming year as he’ll be kicking it off in the Big Apple for the annual Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in Times Square, where he will be performing alongside a handful of artists.
