Does anyone else have this quirk?

Every family has a picky eater. You know, the one who loves white meat but won’t touch the turkey leg? Or who will only eat the marshmallows off the sweet potatoes? Turns out country powerhouse Thomas Rhett, who loves family gatherings and great food, is one such eater. And he gets a little finicky about his dinner plate.

“A weird quirky thing about me is when I go to, like, my parent’s or my grandparent’s house, like for Thanksgiving or Christmas, there’s so many different kinds of food. I cannot handle when any of those foods touch each other. I have to, like, either get two plates and put them on two plates or just not let ‘em touch on the same plate. It’s so dumb. If it touches, I just kind of eat the parts that don’t touch.”

Rhett may spend the holidays dodging food hurdles, but his summer will be much more fun. On May 17 he will kick off his headlining “Very Hot Summer” Tour with Dustin Lynch and Russell Dickerson (as well as his father, hit songwriter Rhett Akins) in tow.
