Tucker Beathard Starts New Chapter With Major Label Record Deal

Tucker Beathard is starting a new chapter of his musical career with the Warner Music Nashville family by his side. The singer/songwriter signed a major recording deal with the label shortly after the release of his independent debut double album, Nobody’s Everything.

“It was really important to me during this album-making process, that I didn’t immediately rush into signing a record deal,” said Beathard in a press release. “With everything I’ve learned during this journey, I wanted to be sure whenever I add a new layer into the fold it’s the right fit and that it’s always about the music. The first time I met with the team at Warner, I knew they were the right ones to help get more of my music out into the world.”

“To quote Tucker’s song, when we first heard this music, it was clear that he had ‘somethin’ to say,’” added WMN SVP A&R Cris Lacy. “That’s the hallmark of true artist. You couple that with the raw depth of his lyrics, some brilliant musicianship, and that old soul voice, and it was a no brainer. Tucker HAD to be part of the Warner Music family.”

The move comes after Beathard spent years working to get out of his contract with Big Machine Label Group. He admits that upon his release from “lawyer land,” he was able to finally open up creatively and follow his artistic path independently, which eventually led to Nobody’s Everything.

“I was pushed through a lot of new limits, a lot more extremes emotionally, and it matched perfectly with being put in a place to where there was no boundaries, no rules,” he told Sounds Like Nashville of making the album. “It was super easy for me to totally just get in that frame of mind and head space to channel the most vulnerable and authentic recording.”

Part one of Nobody’s Everything is available everywhere now, which Part two set for release via Warner Music Nashville in the coming months.
