As the year comes to a close, Sounds Like Nashville has compiled a list of the best country albums that have come out of Nashville throughout the past year. With the amount of fantastic music released over 2017, narrowing down the list to our Top 20 was difficult but worthwhile.
Many country veterans released new projects this year, making their stamp on the history of country music. Artists from Luke Bryan to Chris Young shared new tunes that showcased exactly why they are the artists we love and respect. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have been known to released a duet here and there, but graced us with an entire collection of collaborative music with The Rest of Our Life. Veterans weren’t the only ones to land on our list as newcomers Midland, Brett Young and Luke Combs released their debut projects to critical acclaim.
