Reba has done just about everything in her career — released countless albums, headlined sold-out tours, starred in a beloved television sitcom and so many other accomplishments. Embracing the holiday spirit once again now that the weather cooled down, the country icon has re-released My Kind of Christmas to her festive fans.

Featuring four new tracks to the Christmas collection of last year, Reba looked toward her friends for collaboration possibilities with the original songs. Vince Gill, Trisha Yearwood, Amy Grant and a number of others contributed to the list to help Reba out with her yuletide spirit.

Reba even added her gospel hit, “Back to God,” to the tracklist to inspire joy during the holidays despite the tragedies that plagued many people throughout the past year.

“Because of what we’ve been going through this year with the floods, the fires, the shootings, the senseless tragedies that have occurred, it just aggravates me, it hurts my heart. I know God’s crying. I think we need to give this world back to God. I think we need more prayer, praying for peace. It’s very important to me that we need help and I think it’s time for all of us to realize it — we need help,” Reba told Sounds Like Nashville in our cover story.
